What is the cap made of?

The material is made of vegetable-derived (sugar cane) polyethylene and is Bonsucro certified.

What is the environmental impact of paper packs compared to recycled plastic and aluminum materials and bottles?

The carbon footprint over the entire life cycle is the lowest for the paper packaging material used in this project (from LCA evaluation).

What is LCA evaluation?

Life cycle assessment evaluation, a quantitative assessment of the environmental impact (CO2 emissions) of all processes from raw material production to disposal.

What is FSC certification?

It is proof that only wood chips that have been sustainably managed in the forest are procured as raw material.

What is FSC CoC certification?

It is proof that the entire supply chain, including logistics and processing, is procuring materials in a way that has a lower environmental impact.

Can I recycle using the conventional Tetra Pak delivery service (send freight collect)?

Please inquire separately at “Havary's Recycling Service” as the conventional recycling service has been completely terminated by Tetra Pak in December 2022.

How many Havary's are recycled into toilet paper?

Approximately 5 bottles of Havary's 330mL will be regenerated in one roll.

What happens to materials that cannot be recycled as paper?

Non-recyclable by-products such as waste plastics are recycled as fuel or charcoal (thermal recycling). The remaining residues are used as raw materials for concrete, and charcoal produced from paper sludge is reused as a heat insulator for steelmaking, soil conditioner, deodorizer, and various other applications. The water used for recycling is discharged into rivers and the ocean after being completely cleaned through a sophisticated purification process.

What is a zero-emission factory?

Havary's paper containers are completely recycled in a zero waste, zero-emission plant.

Who is responsible for the packaging of recycling boxes and individual paper rolls?

We are supported by Fuji City Kusunoki Gakuen, which provides employment support for people with disabilities.

When compared to toilet paper made from virgin pulp material, the carbon footprint is reduced by more than 56%.

Can the caps be left on when recycling?

In principle, the caps should be removed, but it is acceptable to leave some of the caps on.

How can I send my recyclables for recycling collection other than with the designated slip enclosed in the box?

What if I want to recycle toilet paper without buying it?

What are the flavor characteristics of Havary's 330mL?

This domestically produced natural water is fed from the stratovolcanic flow of the Taradake mountain range in Saga Prefecture, and is rich in high-quality calcium and magnesium minerals.
It is a precious medium-hard water produced in Japan and has been selected as one of the 100 best waters, and its contoured taste is well received.

What is the taste profile of Havary's 1000 mL?

It is soft soft water, natural melted snow water that has passed through the geological formations of the North Alps, making it a good match for coffee, tea, and cooking.

Why are the water sampling locations different for 330mL and 1000mL?

For reasons of domestic water source conservation as well as sustainable manufacturing and delivery, we deliver delicious domestic natural water in a responsible manner through the Havary's brand.

What is the expiration date?
